September 2025…. Beginnings
It feels like such a big month of new beginnings for me — September is here, and with it comes a whole new rhythm. I’ve officially taken up my post as trumpeter for Soul Battalion full time, which still feels a bit surreal to say out loud. Playing with the band has already been such an exciting experience, and now I get to throw myself fully into it.
At the same time, I’ve just started my A levels, so life is definitely about to get busy. It’s a bit of a juggling act, balancing practice, rehearsals, gigs, and schoolwork, but honestly, I’m looking forward to the challenge.
More than anything, I’m excited about getting out there, meeting people at gigs, and soaking up the energy that only comes from playing live. It feels like the start of something really special — a season of hard work, new connections, and plenty of music.
