A New Challenge in Gateshead
On Saturday, 15th November 2025, I’ll take part in Brass in Concert, a competition in Gateshead. Events like this bring a mix of nerves and excitement. Still, I’m looking forward to the experience.
In the lead-up, I’ve been practicing carefully. Every note counts in a competition, and I want to give my best. It’s not just for the band, but also for myself. Performing in front of an audience is electric. The energy pushes you to focus, listen, and give everything you’ve got.
Competitions like Brass In Concert are about more than just music. They test teamwork, resilience, and growth. I’m excited to take the stage and feel the music with the other players. Our preparation will show how far we’ve come. No matter the outcome, this will be a memorable experience.
